First two photographs taken a week on, after noticing that the Hospital had cleaned and ‘made up’ Mr Chappell, against the family’s instructions, which almost covered up forehead marks and imprints (outlines can be seen underneath). On zooming in on the wound in the second photograph, the imprints can still just be seen.
The Police and Coroner are aware of the photographs that were taken on the day of Mr Chappell’s death, which clearly show all wounds and injuries.
